Fun and progression

During piano lessons at Popschool The Hague you will be introduced to the piano in all forms that currently exist. You have the acoustic piano, the electric piano and synthesizers. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, with Timothy and Dinaira you can improve your technique, pick and rehearse songs, learn to read music notes and brush up on your knowledge. This is done on the basis of structured lessons, consisting of musical exercises and the rehearsal of pieces.

In general, most topics are approached from a practical point of view, i.e. exercises and theory are directly applied to music by working with drum loops, chord progressions and existing songs.

Dinaira Scheffers

When Dinaira Scheffers was 12 years old, she found herself in various pop bands where she could play different instruments. Despite how cool all the instruments were, singing was the means through which she could express herself best. She continued to develop her skills and, with full ambition, went to the Conservatorium in Rotterdam years later. Since then, she has played a lot in various bands, gaining a wealth of experience. She has evolved into a singer with a characteristic warm sound that she uses in her band. AAPNOOTMIES.

Timothy Dunn

Timothy begon ooit op klassiek piano, maar belandde via het Koorenhuis op de basgitaar. Dat lag hem zo goed dat hij daarin doorging en in 2011 afstudeerde van de pop-afdeling van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Timothy heeft sindsdien in veel verschillende soorten bands gespeeld en heeft hiermee veel ervaring opgedaan. Naast solo-projecten Dunn en Skellot is hij nu vooral actief in de bands The Great Communicators en Voodoo Chambers.
